Tiger to build course in Asheville, NC

Obviously, we all know that Tiger Woods can play. Because of his intricate expertise at the game of golf, it only makes it fitting that his next venture is in designing golf courses. While he will probably never eclipse the 250+ courses that Jack Nicklaus has designed, you can be assured Woods' will be challenging, fun, and "to the T" with details.

His first American design will happen at "The Cliffs" in Asheville, NC, sitting at about 4,000 ft in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Almost sounds like the view we all remember from those old Busch commercials, eh? His company, Tiger Woods Design, has been in the making for a while, but he stated that he wasn't in a hurry to get started on it because he wanted to play all of the top layouts in the world to get a better angle at what set them apart from just "ordinary".

Anyone who ever doubted Tiger has always paid the price. You can't underestimate that when this is all said and done it will be nothing short of spectacular.
