Tiger still perfect

TigerRoars2.jpg

The World Golf Championship Match Play event is a study in endurance; to those that win, they have to consistently play tough, both physically and mentally. Like the NCAA Basketball tournament, while there are teams that are seeded as the best, it's very rare to see them all make it to the end. But for Tiger Woods, being seeded number one is just another day in the park.

Woods' 8 and 7 victory over Stewart Cink did two things; one, he won the final match and two, he took away any thoughts that his early grinded-out victories were just simply anomalies--he dominated Cink and proved once again why he is not only the best in the world, he's at a level only others can dream about.

With the win, Woods went to 3-0 on the year. While many players want to win 3 tournaments in a year and some don't even get that much in a career, Woods is 3 for 3 on the year. Can he gain perfection? Doubtful, but if there was any year to bet that he would complete the grand slam, I'd say this is the year--he is playing so well--even he would say that he's in a zone. This is truly history in the making.
