Tiger dominates...Surprise Surprise!

tigerbuick.jpg

Tiger Woods' victory in the Buick International was just...well, normal. Actually, I can't say that. He once again showed the world why he is in fact the best there is, and the best there ever was to play the game of golf.

Ok, well, maybe a little premature on the best there ever was. But not by much. With the win, he tied Arnold Palmer for the most career victories on the PGA Tour with 62. And the irony is that he may just break the record at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March. Irony, indeed.

I know I can just sit here like the kid who met Mean Joe Green in the old Coke commercial, but why? I'm not saying anything that I haven't said before. I am just simply amazed that there hasn't been at least a break in the dominance--he has just won and won and won. Even when his swing was off, he was still very good. No other individual in any other major sport has been as dominant as Tiger--not even Michael Jordan. Ok, well maybe Jordan....but wow...absolutely wow. I almost laughed when I read the article that Woods' said that the grand slam is entirely possible, and again this tourney's performance--it shows why the commentary was more serious than just being a fantasy.
