Tiger continues streak in dramatic fashion at Palmer Invitational

I don't want people to think that I am this Tiger Woods worshipper or that there's no other news other than Woods, but the issue is--when you are talking about the world of professional golf, he's not giving me much of a chance to NOT talk about him. Winning his fifth tournament in a row since September and ninth in ten overall at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Woods put an exclamation point on winning it with the most dramatic ways of all--the last shot on the last hole, a 20-footer that trickled in.

It ruined the "cinderella story" of Bart Bryant, who has been a journeyman on the PGA tour that has been involved with Q-school six times in his career, who before Woods sunk the winning putt, was the one tied with him and would have gone on to sudden death.

The win by Woods was his 64th overall, tying him with the "Hawk" Ben Hogan in terms of career wins. Only two players stand in front of Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Sam Snead. And just think--he's got probably 6 or 7 more highly competitive years before he calls it quits. It is SCARY what career numbers he could end up at.
