Short Putts: Video Instruction

Hugh Royer III, a former PGA player, gives instruction on short putts, and talks about not only some practice in set up, but also in the mental game that seems to follow players of all levels. The "Yips", which have followed some players around even the PGA, seem to strike at the worst time (of course, there's not really a great time for those anyways). Check it out below:

First off, he is a great instructor--very logical, very simple, and he teaches. The simplistic method of putting the putter in front, getting your line, and then never looking back at the hole may seem like a master of the obvious, but you'd be surprised how many players do like he says at the end of the video--I know I have a tendency to "watch" the ball into the hole instead of executing. A great video.
