Ping Tour W Wedge Review

Everybody wants Pings. Ok, maybe not everybody, but given the choice, a good deal of people will jump at the chance to use a Ping, and so thus we'll talk about the Tour W Wedge. The updated Tour wedge "has a high-density tungsten toe weight to position the center of gravity more in the middle of the face. A custom tuning port in the cavity controls ball flight. Tour W has a shorter blade length than existing Tour wedges, plus machined grooves to pump up performance from tough lies."

Sounds like a lot of hype--although I've rarely found a Ping club that didn't do what it was supposed to do...The Tour-W wedges have a traditional teardrop shape and a hosel notch to help in precise loft and lie adjustments. They come in lofts of 47, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60 degrees, with lofts 54 through 60 also offering multiple bounce options. A brushed silver chrome finish is available for all lofts; some lofts also come in a black nickel chrome finish.

This is a great club--although the MSRP is about 125.00 (ouch), many will fork out much more to use this--and without regret. The feel of this club is superb, it really is a great club. Enjoy.
