O'Hair or Clark? Experts Deadlocked

This week at the Children's Miracle Network tour event presents so many different dramatic storylines. While the big focus is on those that can crack the top 125 and keep their card, what about just those who should be in the thick to win it all? The experts have looked over their respective statistics and come up with two solid picks: Sean O'Hair and Tim Clark.

Why Clark? How this talented South African has remained winless in the PGA is a head-scratcher. He's been in contention a lot, including several majors, and the rule of thumb in this game is if you put yourself in the mix enough, eventually you might just stumble into a victory instead of merely going out and seizing one. Either way, Clark is due, and in this event, he's been quite good with four starts producing four top-25s. Why not add a big win at Mickey's place to end 2007 as well?

Why O'Hair? With 13 top-25s, including five top-10s for the season, it would be pretty shocking if O'Hair ended his 2007 campaign without a win. He's been knocking on the door throughout the year and just enjoyed his best two-week stretch with a tie for fourth at the Fry's Open and a tie for fifth at the Ginn sur Mer. Truth be told, O'Hair's finish at Tesoro could have been much better were it not for a final-round 74. He'll be itching to end the season with a bang.

I think I'd go with O'Hair. He just seems to be in a good rhythm despite that last round.
