Mizuno MP-T Wedge Review

I love the look of this sleek wedge. With a classic steel type look but with modest flashiness, this has also the classic teardrop shape to it. But the design wasn't for looks alone--this design provides relief along the toe, heel and trailing edge for added versatility in all types of lies, which has long made the wedge design complex. MP-T is "grain flow" forged from mild carbon steel, which produces the sweet sensation of the ball staying on the face a fraction of a second longer. Max milled square grooves deliver serious control.

Golfer's biggest concerns with wedges are flexibility which usually is precipitated by how the club feels--dealing with the weight. This one actually is a great feeling club, almost like a very even putter, allowing great lift of the ball--thus the playability on different lies. I love the fact that I tried a couple of flop attempts, and while I am not a master of them, it actually was much easier to do with this wedge than the majority I have used.

The price tag on this is actually decent, at just under 100 dollars. While it's only available to righties, it is still a solid club by a solid manufacturer.
