Faldo's Criticism of Monty warranted?

Nick Faldo hasn't "exactly" named names in his recent criticism of the Ryder Cup "putting" and the like, but everyone that has a brain knows it's about Colin Montgomerie, the surly Scot who has proven time and time again that he can play, regardless of the conditions.

But Faldo hasn't singled out just Montgomerie in the past, either directly or indirectly. As captain of the Seve Trophy - matches between Britain and Ireland against continental Europe - he left Paul McGinley off the team, meaning there would be no Irishman at a tournament in Ireland. It took an uglier turn when McGinley then resigned as Faldo's vice captain for the Ryder Cup, saying he wanted to concentrate on making the team.

Faldo is a farce to leading teams--he may be getting some flair amongst the youngsters of Golf, but he's a joke when it comes to breaking taboos and criticizing in the press and doing things like he did against McGinley. I understand many people are angry about how 'PC' we are today, but he's just being a baby about things--Monty has proven himself and deserves to be on the team until he says so. Grow up, Nick.
