Clocking your wedge shots

Doug Hammer, the pro at Talking Stick Golf Club in Arizona, gives a nice, simple tip on wedge shots in the video below. I thought this would be something to post since I have been doing some equipment reviews on wedges to give some instruction behind using the clubs (of course, if you are spending the money on those clubs, the presumption is that you probably don't need the basic instruction).

Still, it makes sense, where visual imagery and muscle memory can really make a difference in the 50-70 yard pitching range, because like Doug talks about, the tendency is to not follow through and therefore decelerate your swing, causing the ball flight to be much shorter. Although I wish Doug would have been a little more explicit as to the normal yardage to use which clock technique when, the short video is still helpful nonetheless. Check it out below:
